I’m gonna butcher what @superamiuniverse spent like 2 hours trying to explain to me and simplify it.
Light is all about reflections, so if you want something to look super shiny, you have to think of a mirror.
Shiny hotspots would be that reflective surface capturing a light, or the sun, something super bright like that, and the absence of light would be the silhouette of whatever’s being reflected.
So, you have to make up a room in your head for it to reflect, and keep that consistent, an easy one is an outside environment with buildings, with the sun in the sky, silhouette of a person optional.
Keep the form in mind as well, don’t make it super reflective in the shadow, etc.

If you use that correctly you can mess with the selected objects form a bit better?oh thank you! i noticed with transform selection that using CTRL gives it different effects, i just didnt know what all what this was and thought there was some funnky feature i never knew about
